Holidays: The To-Do List

The Holidays are basically here. Thanksgiving is next week and then the madness of what is Christmas Shopping begins. Since I've got very limited funds, I've decided this year I'm going to craft presents. I wanted to make the few people that are getting presents, really special ones. Rachael and I are going to Michaels either this week or next to get supplies. I have already come up with my idea for Gabe. He's not much into getting gifts but I really feel like what I'm going to do is going to be really cool and reflective of what I've learned in the last few weeks. I suppose I should update you on how that's been. He and I haven't spoken but a few times and that was just recent short text conversations I've had with him. I've survived not talking to him. Of course I knew I would but the moral of the story is that I"ve had time to really get my life on track and take care of myself. I've set new rules and goals for myself and I've really had fun. I cook now which has been a struggle up until recently. I'm not sure why I thought I couldn't do it but whatever that reason was, it's blown out of the water. I've tried getting to the gym, tonight I will be going to Yoga with Liz. She and I were Zumba buddies til I started working crazy weird hours and Davids Bridal and then now that I'm at the bank, I dont get off til 6 so Zumba has to take a backseat momentarily. :(.

I have reconnected with Rachael, I have gone thru a period of distancing myself from all of those in my life because I just didnt feel like being hurt or let down anymore. She didnt do this but I just started be quiet and not the same to her too.

Work is going well. I love it.


Christmas to do list:
-crafting items
-print pictures
-find silver decorations
-buy new years sparkle nail polish
-buy cookbooks (Julia Child, Mastering The Art of French Cooking).
-buy new work pants/tops.
-get rain boots.
-get snowboarding pants
-get a curtain rod and new curtains
-get new heels
-figure out where I'll be for Christmas.

Life is good. Life is beautiful.
